ianaiERP Bridge is a desktop application that serves as a crucial link between your ianaiERP account and your local hardware, such as printers and scales. This powerful tool enhances your shipping process by enabling seamless communication between ianaiERP's cloud-based system and your physical devices.

System Requirements

  • Windows 10 or later (with latest updates)

  • macOS 10.12 (Sierra) or later

  • USB-connected printers and scales (some network printers may work, but are not officially supported)

Installation

  1. Go to Settings > Printing > ianaiERP Bridge.

  2. Click "Install ianaiERP Bridge" for your operating system (Windows or Mac).

  3. Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions.

  4. Launch ianaiERP Bridge after installation.

  5. When prompted, allow ianaiERP Bridge to start automatically at login.

  6. Log in using your ianaiERP admin credentials.

Configuration

Once installed and logged in, you can configure ianaiERP Bridge:

  1. Go to Settings > Printing > ianaiERP Bridge Settings.

  2. Rename workstations and devices as needed.

  3. Share or disable specific devices for other ianaiERP users.

  4. Set default printers for different document types.

Using ianaiERP Bridge

Printing

  1. Select an order or shipment in ianaiERP.

  2. Click the "Print" menu and choose the document type (e.g., label, packing slip).

  3. In the print preview, select "Print through ianaiERP Bridge".

  4. Choose the desired printer and click "Print".

Scale Integration

  1. Connect a compatible USB scale to your workstation.

  2. In ianaiERP, when configuring a shipment, click the scale icon next to the weight field.

  3. ianaiERP Bridge will automatically capture and input the weight from the connected scale.

Best Practices

  1. Install ianaiERP Bridge only on workstations with connected printers or scales.

  2. Keep ianaiERP Bridge running in the background for seamless operation.

  3. Regularly check for updates to ensure you're using the latest version.

  4. Use descriptive names for workstations and devices to avoid confusion.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with ianaiERP Bridge:

  1. Ensure the application is running and logged in.

  2. Check that your printers and scales are properly connected via USB.

  3. Verify that you have the latest version of ianaiERP Bridge installed.

  4. Restart the application and/or your workstation if problems persist.

Limitations

  • Wireless and network printers may not be fully supported.
