Inventory Transfer

Inventory transfers move items between locations or between bins within the same location in ianaiERP. They are essential for multi-location inventory and optimized stock distribution, especially when you need to reposition stock efficiently.

Overview

  • Multi-Site Distribution: Enables balanced stock distribution across physical locations and specific zone bins.
  • Valuation Consistency: Keeps valuation consistent with your configured corporate method (FIFO, LIFO, or Weighted Average).
  • Integrated Shipping Costs: Captures shipping details and can automatically generate a vendor bill through the associated shipping provider.
  • Operational Control: Supports strong warehouse compliance via recorded reasons, internal notes, and notification thresholds for large or critical transfers.
