Settings / Preferences

General Settings centralize your company setup and platform defaults in ianaiERP. Configure companies/locations, accounting and unit defaults, tracking options, integrations (connections/webhooks/API), shipping providers, and your personal profile/theme. User & Permission is also accessible here for seat and invite management.

Overview

  • General Settings centralize your company setup and platform defaults in ianaiERP. Configure companies/locations, accounting and unit defaults, tracking options, integrations (connections/webhooks/API), shipping providers, and your personal profile/theme. User & Permission is also accessible here for seat and invite management.

Where to Access

  • Top bar ▸ your avatar ▸ Settings → tabs: Company, General, Connections, Shipping.

  • Top bar ▸ your avatar ▸ Profile → personal theme & language.

  • Top bar ▸ your avatar ▸ User & Permission → user list, invites.

Key Attributes

Company ▸ Companies & Locations

  • Upload Logo / Upload Signature: Files used on documents.

  • Companies table: Name, Country, Currency, Default.

  • Locations table: Name, Company, City, Address (Line1), Bin Tracking (on/off), Action (edit/delete).

  • Merge Locations / Create a new location…: Consolidate or add locations.

General

  • Date & Time: Default time format (12/24h), timezone, date format.

  • Units: Default Weight Unit and Dimension Unit.

  • Default Accounts: Income, Asset, Cost of Goods Sold, Expense, Adjustment, Deposit Bank.

  • Global options:

    • Allow Negative Quantity

    • Enable Barcode / Barcode Sound

    • Enable Multicurrency

    • Display Decimal Zeros

    • Display Address in Ascending Order

  • Tracking Settings (feature switches):

    Enable Location Tracking, Department, Lot Tracking, Auto Lot Number, Project Code, Serial Tracking, Auto Serial Number, Class.

  • User Defaults: User Default Department, User Default Location.

Connections

  • Connections: Add external connections (Create a Connection).

  • Webhooks: Active, Name, Events, URL, Test Mode, Actions; Create a Webhook.

  • API Keys: Generate keys (shown once) for API access.

Shipping

  • Carriers: Connect shipping providers (Manage Carriers).

  • Custom Packages: Define pack types.

  • Automation: Shipment automation (Setup).

  • International Settings / Notifications: Cross-border and notice preferences.

Profile (personal)

  • User Info: First/Last name, email, Set New Password.

  • Design: Primary/white/black colors, Border Radius slider.

  • Display Settings: Color Mode (light/dark) and Language.

User & Permission

  • Grid: Email, First/Last Name, Last Login, Type (Administrator/General User), Status (Active/Invited).

  • Controls: Manage Seats, Invite a User, Show Inactive Users.

Key Functions

Companies & Locations

  1. Add a company/location: Settings ▸ Company ▸ Create a new location… (or company).

  2. Set defaults: Mark a company as Default; toggle Bin Tracking per location if you use bins.

  3. Branding: Upload Logo/Signature for documents.

General defaults & tracking

  1. Settings ▸ General.

  2. Choose date/time, timezone, and units.

  3. Map default accounts (Income/Asset/COGS/Expense/Adjustment/Deposit Bank).

  4. Toggle tracking features (Location, Department, Lot/Serial, Project Code, etc.) and barcode/multicurrency.

  5. Set User Default Department/Location for faster data entry.

Connections / Webhooks / API

  1. Create a Connection for external systems (as needed).

  2. Create a Webhook to receive real-time event callbacks.

  3. Generate an API Key (copy and store securely—shown once).

Shipping providers

  1. Settings ▸ Shipping ▸ Manage Carriers to link carriers.

  2. Define Custom Packages and configure Automation, International Settings, and Notifications.

Profile (theme & language)

  1. Avatar ▸ Profile.

  2. Adjust Design colors/border radius and Display Settings (Color Mode, Language).

  3. Use Set New Password when needed.

User & Permission

  1. Avatar ▸ User & Permission.

  2. Invite a User and assign Type (Administrator/General User).

  3. Manage Seats, view Status/Last Login, and toggle Show Inactive Users.
